Mondays – Virginia will arrive at 10:00, Players to register by 10:15, Play will start at 10:30.

Thursdays – Marcus will arrive at 4:00, Players to register by 4:15, Play will start at 4:30.

Those wishing to play, please fill in your name on the form provided. If you arrive late or don’t put your name down you may not get a game. If you only want half a game, find someone to share with & write both names in one box.

When you have registered please help get the equipment out, check Dave’s poster for which direction & colour to use for that day. Initially for Rinks 2 to 5, if more than 22 turn up, then setup rinks 1 & 6. This will help protect the ends going the other way.

During the early part of the season you may need to put the nets down.

We will also play Pairs rather than Triples if we can, as that gives you more shots per game, please remember to bring all your woods.

Once we know how many are here, you’ll draw a token showing rink, side & position. If the numbers are uneven we’ll ask for a group of three to volunteer for “Killer”, otherwise some of you will have to play “Three vs Two”.

We are keeping it random as we would like to encourage all players to try all positions. However if you really don’t want to skip, or feel the sides are unbalanced, or want to play a particular position to practice for a match, you may swap around by mutual agreement.

We will play 14 ends, once you have finished your game please make sure you put all your equipment away, except the edge markers if they are being used by a rink that is still playing.

Club tradition is that the losing players buy their opposite number a drink after the Thursday rollup.
