Spring Clean
Many thanks to Geoff and everyone who has already helped to spring clean the clubhouse, surrounds and patio in time for the start of the new season – but there are still jobs that need doing!
Bonus Ball
There is still time to take part in the Bonus Ball Competition for those of you who haven’t already. To explain how it works – the National Lotto Bonus Ball is drawn every Saturday Night and this is the one we use. If it is your number you win £20. If a number comes up that has not been sold we have a roll over to the next draw and that lucky winner has £40. All numbers remain in the draw so you could win more than once during the season. This brings in much needed funds for the club. One member won £100 last year.
Match Teas / Cleaning Rota
We will still provide drinks and bar snacks for home matches.
Once again every member will be on the weekly cleaning rota for the clubhouse. In
pairs your name will appear once during the season. If you cannot make that week ask to swap with someone else. Clean floors, toilet, basins and empty bins. This rota will be available soon on the board and by email..

the newbies group. Help with these is always needed as a one off or a regular commitment.

Security
Finally if you visit the club please check that you have locked the side gate, equipment room and men’s changing rooms.
Check all doors and don’t assume someone else will do it.
PS If anyone approaches you and is interested in playing bowls please encourage them and let me have
their details.
