Please take note of the ‘play by ‘ dates for each round and book a rink in advance. The booking folder is between the counter and the bar where the table tennis folder was.
These matches can be played east – west on the green.
Any issues please contact Colin Anderson. Latest – The June deadline date has been extended by one week due to the hot conditions.
Laurie Cup
The draw for this competition is also on the notice board. Sue Rogers is the organiser and says “Please check who you are playing and try to keep to the dates”.
Once again you will need to book a rink. Please place result cards in the box on the wall next to the Ladies Changing Room door.

Other Stuff
Have you noticed our smart new curtains? Thanks to Sue and Andy Rogers for ordering them and putting them up.
John Wasley (new member) has ended up with a different pair of bowls shoes. We can only think that someone may have taken his (Drakes Pride) by mistake. Please check.
Thanks to everyone who has taken their turn on the cleaning rota. If it’s your turn, please include the bin next to the green.
Geoff has opened up 3 lockers which have already been allocated. Please let me know if you require one.
Please think about the plants in this weather. A quick water will keep them alive.
If you see clean glasses on the bar counter could you please put them away. Every little helps.
Club house security. Message from Tony
We have had 3 reports / incidents recently that our clubhouse doors have been left open / unlocked! The kitchen door appears the most vulnerable as I’m told it can be problematic. The men’s locker room and the main double doors have also been left open / unlocked. Having had a recent break in attempt with the mower shed, we know people are getting on site during darkness. Everyone is urged to take the utmost care when leaving the club and double check that everything is locked if you are the last person on site.
Fitness classes will be informed of this.
Check all: do not assume someone else has done it!
