Newsletter 2023 #5

We recently received the news that former club member and bowler Kath DeBuse has sadly passed away.
Our thoughts are with her family and friends.

Security of the Club
Please check all the doors are locked if you are the last to leave the club (even if you didn’t unlock them). This includes Ladies and Gents changing rooms, kitchen door, equipment store and double glass doors.
Also that the new windows are closed, curtains drawn ( to conceal the lights from the bar) and the lights in both toilets and hall are off.
We are aware that some doors have been left open and unlocked overnight!

The Green – message from Geoff
Lots of you may have noticed light green patches that suddenly appeared on the green. This weed was treated by James (the greenkeeper) recently and it should be gone in a couple of weeks.

Finally special mention must go to Bob & Norma and Sue & Rod Smith who have spent hours pruning and cutting back the foliage surrounding the green.
Also to Andy who has transformed the outside notice board.
