It seems we finished a creditable third place in the SML mixed triples league, with Hampton winners and Staines taking second place.
Eight teams entered. We started so well and then tailed off when it came to the end of the season.
I am convinced we can improve next year and regain the title we won a few years back.
Finals Day
The two days ran very smoothly, the weather was kind and the green was in tip top condition.
Thank you to Colin for organising the internal competitions, Sue for the food and everyone else who; marked, prepared the green, set up rinks, swished the green, helped with the catering, stocked and ran the bar, put out tables and chairs, took photos, helped clear away, presented trophies, updated the honour board, recycled the empties etc.
A real club effort.
Well done to everyone who played in a final and congratulations to the winners who are now our club champions for the year ahead.

SML Finals – Sunday 21st September
It is our turn to host this event and representatives from 8 clubs will be playing their South Middlesex finals match on our green.
We will be providing food and markers and generally ensuring the smooth running of the day.
Last time we did this there were spectators seated all around the green.
The car park tends to fill up quickly but then people tend to come and go throughout the day.
Please come along and support by watching and taking on jobs that need doing during the day, even if you can only stay a short while.
There is a sign up sheet on the board .
I will send out the ‘Order of Play’ via a second email from James Hill
